Support From Superiorites

Superior, WI (Northland’s NewsCenter) — Due to the recent acts of violence in the Superior community, a prayer vigil will be held on Sunday, February 26th.

The vigil will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of North 12th Street and Poplar Avenue.

The vigil will highlight the recent robbery at the Superior Walgreen’s which led to a high speed chase by Superior Police.

The alleged robber, Luke Anderson, was killed as a result of his confrontation with the police.

Prayers will be for all who were victimized, for the police and their families who are impacted by community violence, and for Luke Anderson and his family.

The Superior Area Ministerium is organizing the prayer vigil which is open to the public.
