The Bay Area Chamber Ensemble (BACE) will perform an evening of chamber music the way it was meant to be experienced - live!
Violinist Sheila Mitchell, violist Michelle Vyskocil, cellist Linda Calhan, bassist Scott Burchill and pianist Joni Chapman will perform pieces in a variety of groupings, including a piano quintet by late Classical period composer Louise Farrenc.
Other selections include trio and duet music by Jacques Offenbach, Robert Schumann, Alec Rowley and Marin Marais.
The Ashland Chamber Music Society (ACMS) presents this event on Saturday, January 28, at 7:30 p.m., at the Presbyterian-Congregational Church, 214 Vaughn Avenue, in Ashland. A reception will follow the concert.
This performance is part of the ACMS 2011 -2012 concert series. All students are FREE for ACMS programs. General Admission is $15, with tickets available at the door.
